About Soft X
My name is Jon Kristensen and I live in Holstebro. I trained as an electronics technician in the early days, and most recently I trained as a photographer at the media schools in Viborg. I also have degrees in project management and office machine mechanic (there used to be something called typewriters and copiers, but I don't think anyone remembers that anymore).
Initially, I worked in hardware development, but it wasn't long before it became software development. I've spent most of my time as a software developer. For the past 10 years, I have also worked as a photographer and taken the photographer education in Viborg. Software development and photography may not have much to do with each other, but for me it's a great combination. Software development can be something where you're immersed in a project at your screen for most of the day, whereas photography is more about getting out into the "real world" and meeting people. So therefore it gives me a good balance.

- Telecom company, fiber rollout
- Scada systems for wind turbines
- Trading company, integration to financial systems
- Training for software developers
- Web developer
I've been self-employed for just over 10 years now, both as a photographer and as a software developer. As a photographer, I have done portraits, weddings, product photography, press photography, real estate photography and video. As an independent software developer, I have worked mostly with web development and 3D visualization.
With this company Soft X, I want to develop ready-made software solutions and services. And if the opportunity arises, I would also like to be a freelance resource that can be hired on a project basis.
